-Calculate water demand for an area in Sri Damansara.
-Calculated the area of road to be resurfaced, area for road widening, walkways, kerbs for cost calculation of the project.
-Ir.Lim explained to us about road cross sections, importance of taking into account every little detail for cost calculation of a project.

-Studied about yield line design from " Practical Yield Line Design" by Gerrard Kennedy & Charles Goodchild.
-Applied the yield line design to find the moment on a wall of a typical landfill pump station.

-Went to Sri Damansara at about 9am to survey the land use in order to calculate the water demand in the area. Took photos of the industrial area, shoplots, houses and others.
-After that, we went to Persiaran Damansra to survey the area as road widening, resurfacing, walkway building and kerb replacement works are going to take place. We took photos of the junctions, trees, lamp posts that have to be taken into account for project costing.
-Got back to office at about 3pm, continued calculating the water demand.

-Continued with the water demand calculation, prepared water demand table with a total of about 1.3million gallons/day

-Completed the water demand table, revised the demand/unit for a few premises, handed in the table.
-Coloured the layout plan to differentiate houses, light industry, workshops, offices,schools and companies.
-After lunch, went to terrace housing project(Phase 3F) in Rawang with Law Lok Hong. Took photos of the show house being constructed. Attended the site meeting which was held at Emerald West Sales Office.
-Discussed about progress of construction, switches to be used in houses.
-Meeting attended by client, architect, quantity surveyor, quality controller, structural consultant, M&E consultant and contractor.
