18/5/2010
-Edited the PE table again and submitted it to Ir.Lim.
-Ir.Lim briefed us on the schematic diagram of a water reticulation system.
-Did and exercise to calculate the head loss in a water pipe using the Hazen-Williams method.

19/5/2010
-Read up on steps of proper landfill closure. Learn about the functions of HDPE liner, geosynthetic clay liner, and geosynthetic drainage liner.
-Followed Ir.Ng Keng Keon to site, Taman Saujana Hijau at Presint 11, Putrajaya. There was a problem in the pumphouse, water was leaking.

-Did some colouring of drawings for submission purpose and also folded all the drawings to A4 size.
-For concrete, green colour was used, red for bricks, blue for steel and grey for gravel.

21/5/2010
-Read about the vertical multistage centrifugal pump from the GRUNDFHOS.
-Pump used in the pump house is a CRE15 model, with a electronic frequency controller.
-Learnt about check valve, water hammer, diaphragm tank.
